  • ‘Adoption’ by the City Council in terms of access to Council officers, politicians and decision makers.
  • Sustainability Advisors are employed by Groundwork Birmingham and Solihull, a community focussed environmental charity.
  • The funding stream for the project gives independence from Council/political management requirements in terms of work commissioned.  Advisors can deliver the sustainability agenda in an innovative way with guaranteed resourcing that allows them to move quickly.
  • The work commissioned by the Advisors has proved informative and invaluable to policy and decision makers.
